Screensharing and/or microphone is not working when I use Driff talk?

The number one reason for your camera or microphone to not work via Driff Talk is because you did not give permission to either your browser or you

Here are the steps that you need to follow in order to start sharing your screen or to get your microphone working.

Step 1: Enable your browser to use your camera and microphone.

For Windows:

  1. Go to start
  2. Open your settings
  3. Click on privacy & security
  4. Go to camera or microphone
  5. Then make sure camera or microphone access is turned on

For iOS:

  1. Go to system preferences
  2. Open privacy & security
  3. Go to camera or microphone
  4. Then make sure the box before your browser is ticked

Step 2: Allow the website to use your camera or microphone

For Google Chrome

  1. Open your settings via the three little dots in the top right corner
  2. Go to privacy & security
  3. Open your site settings
  4. Under permissions, allow sites to either ask for your camera or microphone

For Safari

  1. Go to safari in the top bar of your browser and select preferences in the dropdown menu
  2. Click on camera or microphone and make sure that Driff is granted access

For Firefox

  1. Open your settings via the three little lines in the top right corner
  2. Go to privacy & security
  3. Scroll down to permissions
  4. Click on camera or microphone and make sure that Driff is granted access.
